also if it leaks anywhere, be happy knowing there is only one o ring, plus the co2 gasket. the bbs go in right under the rear sight, the screw is a power adjuster. LOL!!!! I bet they paid a ton of money for them too. Before the houses where built they were hauling dump trucks of 55galon drums out of there. It's ok, because the residents don't know that they live on a superfund site. Oh, I used to be able to see the Rancocas creek, but then they built houses blocking my view. Now I have to get me some CO2 cartridges which I already found, some BB's and a new o-ring for the bottom screw and then cross my finger and hope it works! I have been looking for atleast 3 days on the internet tying to find some info on it. WOW That is awesome!!!! Thanks a lot it is very much appreciated!!!! Where you are you in NJ?īehind the rear sight it is. Everything I have read on it says that's a pretty good gun. Behind the rear site would be the only place on the gun that would hold that many BB's. Also, on Airgunsmith someone there states that it hold 100 BB's in it's reservoir. I saw that pic on Gun Broker earlier and that's why I think the BB's go in the back under the rear sight. Is there anything that could be a door in the grip area? This site talks about a "BB elevator" sticking, which implies to me that the BB's come up from underneath, meaning the grip area. I couldn't find much info on it either other than the size CO2 cartridges it uses, mainly just ones for sale like fritz said. I was thinking that's where the BB's would go in. I didn't know that's what the screw was, so that's cool. The problem I am having is where do I insert the BB's I appreciate the help but I already knew that it used the 8 gram CO2 bulbs. Hopefully someone that has one will surface with the information that you requested. Looking around on the net I found out that the screw is a power adjuster, and that the gun uses 8 gram CO2 bulbs (not the now standard 12 gram size). It's not that I'm not a people person, it's just that I'm not a stupid people person. "I never set out to be wierd, it was always everyone else who called me it" -Frank Zappa I can't find much other than ones for sale. has 2 power settings (I think that's the screw you were turning 90*). Just did a quick google search and it appears you need the short 8gram carts. Location: New Jersey- outside of Philadelphia I don't want to take it apart unless I have to. Is it supposed to be removable?Īlso is there any maintenance I can do? This thing hasn't been fired in quite some time. My guess is that they go in there because I can hear a spring in there. I was wondering if can tell me where the BB's go in? The rear sight lifts up but it cannot be removed, so I can't tell if there is a slot in there for them? There is a small screw next to where the CO2 cartridge is. I just acquired a Healthways Plainsman 175 overall not in bad condition.
